We build websites for small businesses that need the phone to ring.

There are eight of us and we've been doing this since 2014. You'll work with whoever answers your email.

Most of our work is rebuilds. It’s usually the same story.

Someone paid a lot for a site in 2019. It got slow. Then the one person who knew how to update it left, and now nobody can change the opening hours without booking a meeting about it.

So we keep ours dull on purpose. Plain HTML, and no CMS unless you actually need one. You get the price in writing before we start. It’s not clever work and we don’t pretend otherwise.

We take on about twenty projects a year and turn down quite a few.

Founder

Started the studio in 2014, after six years at an agency doing rebuilds. Writes most of the HTML.

Design lead

Designs everything we ship. Spent four years in-house at a retail chain, which is where the carousel hatred started.

Engineering lead

Performance and accessibility. Will make you justify every script you want to add.
Mei Tanaka

Client partner

Scheduling, invoices, and the Friday update email. Ask when something will be done and you’ll get an actual date, which is rarer than it should be.
Jake Coleman

Developer

Forms, bookings, and anything that talks to a database. Ten years in, and he still refuses to ship a feature nobody asked for.

Content & SEO

Writes the words and keeps Google fed. She reads what your customers actually search for, then builds pages around it.

Care plans

Runs hosting and the care plans. Ask for a change and it happens the same week, with a note telling you it’s done.

Developer

Finished her CS degree in 2025 and joined the week after. Already the person the rest of us ask about anything CSS.
